MailFrontier–PGP Universal Encryption Solution Secures Outbound Email
for Regulatory Compliance

SAN JOSE, Calif. – RSA Conference – February 13, 2006 – MailFrontier™, the leader in email security, today announced the integrated MailFrontier–PGP Universal™ Encryption Solution, a hardened, easy-to-deploy appliance to secure outbound email. Paired with the MailFrontier Gateway™ and the new MailFrontier Compliance™ Module, the integrated solution makes it easy to automatically enforce email security policies for corporate and regulatory compliance.

Deployed at the gateway, the new integrated solution screens email for sensitive content. Confidential messages are identified by MailFrontier and automatically encrypted and digitally signed using standards-based PGP Universal technology. PGP Universal then automatically performs all key management, key lookup, and message delivery to all recipients, including those without an installed encryption solution. Inbound encrypted email is then decrypted by the joint appliance and evaluated by MailFrontier Gateway for email threat filtering and policy management. The MailFrontier–PGP Universal Encryption Solution supports leading encryption standards and delivers email securely without requiring end user action or any changes in email behavior.
