Channel Manager Eastern Region
General Description:
A highly motivated individual with a successful track record to recruit
new channel partners, train and educate partners on MailFrontier product
line and develop strong working relationship with current partners in
the region. Channel manager will be responsible for the Eastern and Mid
Atlantic regions and must live in this region, preferably New York City.
This individual is responsible for channel partner recruiting, training,
lead generation, pipeline development and forecast reporting. The channel
manager is measured by channel partner recruitment goals, market development
goals and channel revenue goals for the region. The Channel manager will
play a key role in the regional plan by communication and coordination
of channel activities to inside/outside account manager. Channel
Manager must communicate weekly with management results of week and future
key events. This position will be required to post quarterly review
of partners and marketing plan.
Work experience requirements:
- 5-7 years channel development experience in the Eastern or Mid
Atlantic region with measurable success in terms of revenue success
as a result of partnerships
- E-mail security experience in either hardware or software
- Superior verbal/written communication and presentation/training
skills
- Strong business and sales experience and must be able to make strong
business case for partners
- Candidate will spend first 9 months primarily in recruitment and
development so previous knowledge and or relationships and partners
in the region will be key to success
- Team player with great interpersonal skills and values
- Willing to travel 50% of time within region
- Bachelors degree
