MailFrontier Expands Executive Leadership
Roles To Drive Next Stage of Company's Growth “I have thoroughly enjoyed being MailFrontier’s CEO and now would like to focus more of my time on the broader strategic issues facing MailFrontier and the email industry at large,” said Diwanji. “Our challenge now is to expand the company’s initial success to the next level of growth and maturity. I believe that Anne is the single best choice to lead MailFrontier forward. She has an intimate understanding of the company, its products and customers, as well as the highly competitive market environment we’re facing today. I’m excited to continue working in partnership with Anne to develop the business and product strategies to guide the future direction of MailFrontier.” Since joining MailFrontier, Bonaparte has made a significant impact in areas critical to accelerating the company’s growth and establishing market leadership, including strengthening the MailFrontier brand and establishing key strategic partnerships. In her new role, her focus will be on driving the company’s business strategy and execution to solidify MailFrontier’s leadership in the email security market. In addition to overseeing day-to-day company operations, Bonaparte will tap her worldwide distribution expertise to further MailFrontier’s global market development. Prior to joining MailFrontier, Bonaparte served as VeriSign’s Vice President, International, where she restructured the company’s international operations and positioned the company for international growth during a tumultuous economy. Previously, Bonaparte founded Buzzsaw, Inc., and built the company to a market leadership position in less than two years before selling it to Autodesk. She received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University. “This leadership expansion will make the best use of Pavni and Anne’s unique strengths,” added Timothy Draper, Founder and Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson and a member of MailFrontier’s Board of Directors. “Anne brings a wealth of experience in business strategy and operations, channel and global market development, all needed to drive MailFrontier’s growth to the next level. Pavni can apply her passion for business innovation and customer success with full vigor to the company’s business and product strategies, customer relationships, and partnership development.” Diwanji founded MailFrontier in February 2002 and developed the company’s initial business model and strategy, and secured multiple rounds of funding. Under her leadership, MailFrontier brought successful products to market – MailFrontier Enterprise GatewayTM and MailFrontier DesktopTM – and acquired more than 500 enterprise customers over the past 12 months. Diwanji has led the company’s effort in building a strong reputation for technical innovation and customer focus.
