Every message in or out of an organization must be scanned for threats and policy violations. But most MTAs still remain focused only on optimized delivery, simply tacking on filtering after messages have already been accepted and queued. The results are the unnecessary processing of junk messages, the slowing of legitimate email flow, and the compromised performance of MTA throughput.

MailFrontier’s Preemptive Scanning MTA accepts and queues only messages that have successfully passed through MailFrontier filters, meaning only legitimate messages are processed by MailFrontier's MTA. Junk messages, the majority of today’s email, need never be processed by the MTA and can be instantly deleted, bounced, rejected, or quarantined with no effect on delivery or throughput.

Scalability and Redundancy: MailFrontier Remote Analyzers
MailFrontier can run as a single, all-in-one product which easily handles all scanning, quarantining, and management. For the scalability, redundancy, and high availability needs of large enterprises, MailFrontier Remote Analyzers enable distributed processing and management.

In this split architecture configuration, MailFrontier Remote Analyzers are deployed at the perimeter of the company to rapidly scan incoming email. A separate, redundant Control Center is configured to handle all management of the MailFrontier system.

All MailFrontier Remote Analyzers can delete, bounce, reject, and quarantine all unwanted mail while permitting legitimate email to pass through untouched to its destination. MailFrontier Remote Analyzers can also be deployed in multiple, globally-distributed data centers to provide absolute scalability and complete redundancy.  New Remote Analyzers can be dropped in with no new set-up or configuration.
