Settings


The “Settings” panel allows you to customize MailFrontier Desktop to work best for you.  Of course you don’t have to change any of the settings, but it’s nice to know you can.

Junk Folder Settings
You can use these settings to determine how long you wish to keep junk and challenged email.  The default is 180 days for each.

Wireless Device Support
You can use MailFrontier Desktop to receive and filter email and then forward only the good email to the email address of your wireless device.  This is a good way to minimize your data transmission costs for your wireless service.

Auto Report Phishing Email
As phishing email is detected by MailFrontier Desktop these messages are placed in the MailFrontier Phishing Email folder.  Enabling this option forwards the email to MailFrontier for research and analysis of Phishing messages and allows us to stay ahead of the phishers.

Outlook Multiple Inbox Support
Enable this checkbox to scan "Inbox" messages of additional IMAP accounts or Exchange mailboxes.  This applies to Outlook only.

Other Settings
Of all the other settings, we recommend that your enable the MailFrontier Desktop Signature to tell your friends and family that your “Email is Good Again” with MailFrontier.
