Compatible operating systems
MailFrontier Desktop runs on Windows XP and Windows 2000.


Compatible mail clients
MailFrontier Desktop works with Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002(XP), 2003 and Outlook Express 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0. MailFrontier Desktop is compatible with paid Hotmail accounts, MSN, and other mail systems with POP3 access when used with Outlook Express.



Multiple email accounts
MailFrontier Desktop will filter multiple Outlook and Outlook Express Inboxes.  All mail must arrive in a default “Inbox” folder.  This does NOT include user created folders or sub-folders.  Any Outlook Rules that are used to move messages out of a default “Inbox” folder after arrival might prevent MailFrontier Desktop from scanning and filtering these messages.



IMAP Compatibility
MailFrontier Desktop is IMAP compatible.



Firewall Compatibility
MailFrontier Desktop will work inside a firewall. It uses the HTTP protocol to communicate back to the network.




Language Compatibility
MailFrontier Desktop supports English, German, and French versions of Outlook and Outlook Express installed on Windows 2000 or Windows XP of the same language.

MailFrontier Desktop is not tested or supported for any languages other than the supported languages stated above; however it may operate within Outlook for other languages.
